Im Rahmen des Projektes soll die Machbarkeit eines Verfahrens zur Herstellung von Verbundwerkstoffen aus Sägenebenprodukten und bakterieller Cellulose als Bindemittel überprüft werden. Zudem soll die Umsetzbarkeit im Rahmen bestehender Säge- und Hobelwerkstrukturen beurteilt werden. Anwendungen in unterschiedlichen Zielbranchen sollen identifiziert und deren Potential beurteilt werden.

As part of the project, the feasibility of a process for the production of composite materials from sawmill by-products and bacterial cellulose as a binder is to be investigated. In addition, the applicability within existing sawmill and planing mill structures will be evaluated. Applications in various target industries will be identified and their potential will be evaluated.

Im Rahmen des Projekts wurde ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbundwerkstoffen aus Sägenebenprodukten und bakterieller Nanocellulose als Bindemittel entwickelt und wesentliche Prozessparameter und Materialkennwerte dieser Verbundwerkstoffe untersucht. Zusätzlich wurde eine Umsetzung des Verfahrens in Säge- und Hobelwerken überprüft und potenzielle Anwendungen zur weiteren Innovationsentwicklung definiert

The project intended to evaluate a process for manufacturing composite materials from sawmill by-products and bacterial nanocellulose as a binder to determine key process parameters and material properties of these composite materials. In addition, the feasibility of implementing the process in sawmills was assessed and potential applications for further innovation development were identified.

Ce projet visait à évaluer un procédé de fabrication de matériaux composites, à partir de sous-produits de sciage et d’un liant à base de nano-cellulose bactérienne, afin de déterminer les paramètres clés du procédé ainsi que les propriétés matérielles de ces matériaux composites. En outre, il s’agissait d’évaluer la mise en œuvre du procédé dans les scieries et d’identifier les applications potentielles pour la poursuite du développement de cette innovation
