In diesem Projekt geht es um die Modellierung und die experimentelle Demonstration eines thermochemischen Reaktors zur Umwandlung von H2O/CO2/CH4 in Synthesegas zur Herstellung von flüssigen Kraftstoffen. Die Integration des Reaktors in eine Solartreibstoffanlage und die Wirtschaftlichkeit des Prozesses wird mittels System- und techno-ökonomischer Analysen untersucht. Dieses Projekt ist eng mit dem BFE Projekt FUELREC verbunden.

Short description (English)

This project is aimed at the modelling and experimental demonstration of one of the core components of a solar fuels plant. Namely, the thermochemical reactor system for converting H2O/CO2/CH4 into syngas, the precursor to liquid hydrocarbon fuels. The integration of the reactor into a solar fuels plant is studied by a detailed plant model and the economic viability of the technology is assessed by a techno-economic analysis. This project is closely linked to the BFE project FUELREC.
