Participation of Swiss researchers at the international project "IEA-SHC Task 50 Advanced Lighting Solutions for Retrofitting Buildings".
The electricity consumption for indoor lighting is equivalent to one fifth of the overall electricity demand of the building sector in OECD countries. The goal of this IEA-SHC Task is to foster building retrofitting solutions of daylighting and electric lighting in the non-domestic sector using cost-effective and best practice approaches applicable to a wide range of buildings.
