Description succincte (Anglais)

Justice Rapid Response (JRR) is a multilateral stand-by facility to deploy rapidly criminal justice and related Professionals, trained for international investigations and at the service of States and international institutions. At the request of a State or international institution with jurisdiction, JRR experts can deploy quickly to identify, collect and préserve especially the most perishable information about crimes under international law and massive human rights violations, and reporting back to the requesting authority. After several years of observation, the PA IV / SEP decided in 2009 to participate more actively and pledged in 2011 an offer, so that JRR would implement its permanent secretary in Geneva. The credit over three years allows to finance the Swiss participation according to the official pledge.

Politique publique examinée (Anglais)

Mittels einer externen Evaluation, die ein halbes Jahr vor Ende der Kreditperiode vorliegen soll, wird eruiert, ob
- der JRR-Mechanismus es erreicht hat, sich international im Bereich des Fact-Finding als wichtiger bzw. massgeblicher Service Provider zu etablieren
- die Schweiz über ihr Engagement ihre definierten Ziele erreichen konnte.
Die externe Evaluation wird als Grundlage für den Entscheid hinsichtlich der Art und Weise eines weiteren Engagements der Schweiz bei JRR dienen.
