Zigbox - A full integration of low-consumption wireless communicating devices with the Internet World.
Abstract
(Deutsch)
Sensor networks and embedded communication platforms are currently gaining a fascinating interest in a wide range of applications where interactions with the environment play a critical role; it is the case for example with telemetry, remote maintenance, environmental monitoring, etc. An open and flexible design based on the SDIO standard for portable devices will enable the next generation of NetBox ¿ developed by NetModule AG ¿ with the capability to support different types of wireless sensor networks. The project will also be emphasized with the investigation of sensor devices implementing this protocol within the TCP/IP network and to develop the required middleware.
