Résumé des résultats (Abstract)

Goal
The main goal of WINDS is to contribute to the reorganisation of the pedagogical, cultural and functional aspects of design education at university.
Synthesis
By learning him to read the architecture, and in return to compose it, the specific set of courses prepared by the CRAAL aims to help the student to structure his thought, to find a personal manner to do the architectural project. By leaning on an aware step, using dimensions articulated according to explicit composition rules, the student will be able to develop a process of project allowing him to control his architectural language, without reducing the complexity of its object.
Cover story - transversal exercise-design task
Exercises of design are prepared to complete theoretical courses. During these exercises, the student will compose projects 'in the manner of ...' (Palladio, Wright, Le Corbusier, Eisenman) ; he will proceed each time from a sketch that he will elaborate with the help of a software (TOP, Taxis Oriented Project). The steps are partly traditional because the student has to do a project and to materialize it through plans, sections and elevations. The steps are partly innovative because it proposes the student a computer support touching the conception of his project.
