Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Anglais)
The change in project participation in Switzerland has been acknowledged and agreed upon by the commission in Brussels. The contract was amended so that EMPA was accepted as a new partner in the project who will continue the work originally intended for PSI and PSI remains as a partner in the contract but their duties (deliverables) have been fulfilled already. In 2001 two project meetings with all participants have taken place, in Santander at the facilities of the spanish partner ENSA and in Paris at Framatome. In addition EMPA has discussed details of the experimental procedure with FZK in Karlsruhe and MPA in Stuttgart in several meetings.EMPA has performed a number of tensile tests with cylindrical specimens at room temperature and 850 °C. The results have been reported to the other partners. The test chambers and the measuring equipment have been improved. Further adaptions are beeing made to facilitate deformation measurements at elevated temperatures in accordance with the requirements of the project partners.
