Abstract
(English)
IInstallations and trials with the new developed software tools were carried out. Most activities were concentrated on the problem solving during installation of the various software packages.
The task of having to integrate intranet solutions and internet solutions proved to be a critical task. The use of safety tools, such as firewalls proved to be a problem for the first time installation.
Trial using the new siftware are still carried out. Especially the Best Practise Advisor (BPA) could prove to be worthwhile for other uses too, such as storing test and R&D reports.
A second axis of activity was the collocation of fatigue test data using our proprietary test specimen which is very close to actual components (cast surface, multiaxial stresses, geometric form factor ak = 1.26). The existing fatigue data base is extended to cover all iron material used by +GF+. Tests are performed for GGG-40, GGG-50 and GGG-60. We have also done tests with Magnesium and Aluminium thixo casting parts.
