Résumé des résultats (Abstract) (Anglais)

The overall objective of the project is to build a European Software Process Improvement repository based on ESSI project reports. Additionally VASIE-2 will be embedded into a larger architecture, creating a 'best practice library' by putting together experience from VASIE-2 final reports, 6 forums on software best practice and case studies and theme reports from the software improvement field. VASIE-2 plays two different roles in this library; the first one is to disseminate the European experience in the software community, and the second is to be generator of new experience. The VASIE-2project consists of four major tasks:
1) the review process of ESSI project final reports
2) the inclusion and placement of the reports in a structured manner on the world wide web
3) the running of the 6 software process improvement forums
4) the marketing and dissemination of the VASIE-2 services
