Abstract (Englisch)

Within the MEET project, emission factors and activity data have been derived and presented for the different means of transportation: road traffic (passenger cars, light and heavy duty vehicles), rail traffic, cargo ship, and aircraft. The present contribution makes use of this MEET data base. The emission factors for the different modes are transformed to make them comparable, and illustrative examples are given which are able to show the full extent of the MEET results. The illustrative examples use marginal as well as average approaches.
