Outdoor robots speed is limited by how rapidly their legs/wheels/tracks adapts to obstacles. Bigger wheel or roller diameter maintains smoother vehicle trajectory and wastes less energy. Our project works on a new type of active track that emulates a wheel of >1meter diameter offering x3 increase.
