Abstract (English)	This project evaluates novel membrane external cavity laser (MEXL) technology as a cost-efficient alternative to commercially available yellow optically pumped semiconductor lasers (OPSL). Its feasibility for medical applications is assessed to reduce costs and supplier dependency.
