Abstract (English)	Spinal fusions still rely on uniformly stiff rods, concentrating forces at construct ends and contributing to complications. This project will develop and biomechanically validate a graded-stiffness fixation concept to better distribute loads while maintaining stable conditions for spinal fusion.
