Egg breakage in industrial boiling is a problem worldwide. It entails high costs and food waste with annual losses of 7 million eggs in Switzerland alone. Metinger has discovered a unique eggshell pattern predicting 75% of the loss. We require a research partner to exploit it and prevent food waste.
