Im Rahmen der Überprüfung werden insbesondere die folgenden Fragen beantwortet:
- Wird der Modellierungsansatz inklusive der Szenario-Generierung gemäss Dokumentation und Code-Kommentaren korrekt implementiert?
- Ist der Code im Zusammenhang mit der vorhandenen Dokumentation übersichtlich strukturiert und mit angemessenem Aufwand nachvollziehbar?
- Erfüllt das Modell den Anspruch, einen möglichst einfachen Projektionsansatz zu verfolgen, welcher für praktische Zwecke dennoch hinreichend präzise ist?
- Ist der vom Basismodell abgeleitete Szenarien-Ansatz verständlich und konzeptionell überzeugend?

The review will address the following questions in particular:
- Has the modelling approach, including scenario generation, been implemented correctly in accordance with the documentation and code comments?
- Is the code clearly structured in the context of the existing documentation and comprehensible with a reasonable amount of effort?
- Does the model meet the requirement to adopt a projection approach that is as simple as possible, yet sufficiently precise for practical purposes?
- Is the scenario approach derived from the base model understandable and conceptually sound?

Dans le cadre de ce mandat, les questions suivantes trouveront notamment une réponse:
- L'approche de modélisation choisie par l'OFAS, y compris la génération de scénarios, est-elle correctement mise en oeuvre conformément à la documentation et aux commentaires du code ?
- Le code est-il clairement structuré par rapport à la documentation existante et suffisamment compréhensible sans effort excessif ?
- Le modèle répond-il à l'exigence de suivre une approche de projection aussi simple que possible, tout en restant suffisamment précise à des fins pratiques ?
- L'approche des scénarios dérivée du modèle de base est-elle compréhensible et convaincante sur le plan conceptuel ?

- L'approccio agli scenari derivato dal modello di base è comprensibile e concettualmente convincente?

- Im Hinblick auf Einfachheit und Robustheit beurteilen wir die Modellierung mehrheitlich als ausgezeichnet.
- Die verwendete Methode, bei der vergangene Daten als Grundlage für zukünftige Prognosen dienen, ist gut geeignet, um das Modell einfach zu halten.
- Die Schiebefenster-Kreuzvalidierung entspricht dem ökonometrischen Stand der Technik und führt zu einer methodisch validen Trendextrapolation.
- Der gewählte Szenarienansatz ist konzeptionell überzeugend und nachvollziehbar.

- In terms of simplicity and robustness, we generally rate the modelling as excellent.
- The method used, in which past data serves as the basis for future forecasts, is well suited to keeping the model simple.
- The sliding-window cross-validation is in line with the state of the art in econometrics and results in a methodologically sound trend extrapolation.
- The chosen scenario approach is conceptually sound and transparent.

- Au vu des critères souhaités de simplicité et de robustesse, nous estimons que la modélisation est globalement excellente.
- La méthode utilisée, à savoir une approche basée sur des séries purement chronologiques, s’avère appropriée pour atteindre l’objectif de simplicité.
- La validation croisée à fenêtre coulissante répond aux dernières avancées en économétrie et permet une extrapolation des tendances parfaitement valable sur le plan méthodologique.
- Le choix d’une approche par scénarios est convaincant et compréhensible.

- Il metodo utilizzato, in cui i dati storici fungono da base per le previsioni future, è particolarmente indicato per mantenere il modello semplice.
- La validazione incrociata con finestre scorrevoli è in linea con lo stato dell'arte dell'econometria e porta a un'estrapolazione delle tendenze metodologicamente valida.
- L'approccio basato sugli scenari scelto è convincente dal punto di vista concettuale e comprensibile.
