Résumé des résultats (Abstract) (Anglais)	Project will undertake the design of a flexible automated process that allows disassembling battery packs to improve the quality and speed of the recycling operations, and enable maximum value creation from every battery through identifying and reusing usable battery modules. Such a process poses severe challenges for human based disassembly: firstly it exposes human operators to dangerous chemical substances and high voltage devices; secondly it demands for dull and repetitive tasks. The flexibility of the solution is related to the ability to accept as a target product several battery models with different geometry, and that potentially were built using different manufacturing strategies and by different producers. Therefore, Flex-BD will gather a team of partners and experts with different competencies to tackle the variety issue through the introduction of technology that will allow the creation of a flexible solution.
