Abstract (Englisch)	Abnormal processing of amyloid precursor protein (APP) and accumulation of amyloid-beta peptides is a hallmark of Alzheimer's dementia. The protease ADAM10 neuroprotectively cleaves APP, blocking the accumulation of amyloid-beta peptides. We aim to develope molecules to enhance ADAM10 activity.
