Abstract (Englisch)	We discovered that narcolepsy causation involves epigenetic silencing of the HCRT gene by DNA hypermethylation. We designed an innovative in vitro?in vivo strategy as proof-of-concept of HCRT gene reactivation leading to the development of the 1st disease- modifying therapy for narcolepsy.
