Abstract (English)	The aim of this project is to conduct a small molecule screen for identifying inhibitors for an RNA modifying enzyme and test its use as a "slimming pill" in reducing obesity in mice. Knockout of this enzyme results in a lean phenotype in mice and protects animals from diet-induced obesity.
