Abstract (English)	Blood sampling from pigs presents several challenges due to the anatomy and behavior of the animals. Our aim is to capitalize on the ability to collect blood from cocked tails and preserve it as dried blood spots on filter paper to use it as a convenient source for infectious disease diagnostics.
