The external reviewers assessed the project’s relevance, effectiveness, coherence and sustainability. They drawed lessons learned and recommendations to inform the remainder of the project implementation. The reviewers were also invited to express their opinion on the potential continuation and the strategic direction of the Swiss support to the Government’s efforts in LG reforms also taking into account strategic priorities of the Swiss Cooperation Programme with Serbia 2022-25. They assessed the application of good governance principles, namely, participation and transparency when it comes to the law and policy making, and effectiveness and efficiency of the project implementation. Aspects of gender equality and social inclusion were reviewed where applicable.
