Participation in the Key Comparison study CCQM K-184: Low-polarity analytes in an abiotic matrix.

The focus of this project is polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in river sediment. For this Key Comparison study, the mass concentration of four PAHs (Fluoranthene, Benzo[a]pyrene, Benzo[ghi]perylene, and Phenanthene) in a river sediment sample will be determined.

Objectifs du projet (Anglais)

The analytical method for the determination of PAHs in solid food matrices will be adapted to the analysis of PAHs in river sediment. The results will be sent to the organizing body as part of a key comparison study.
