This small-scale project serves to develop and validate methods in accordance with ISO 17025 for inclusion in the accredited scope STS 0119 and thus to expand the activities of the reference laboratory for toxic elements and nitrogen compounds in foodstuffs.

Project aims
(English)

The aim of this project is to validate an analytical method in accordance with ISO 17025 to determine the speciation of arsenic in foodstuffs. 

The following points need to be addressed:
- Commission ICP-MS-IC and bring software up to date
- Recording (BLV) method for separating arsenic species and studying and understanding the old validation data
- Exploring the criteria for validation according to ISO 17025
- Creating a validation plan according to ISO 17025
- Performing and documenting the method validation for arsenic species determination in accordance with ISO 17025
- Preparation of the validation report for inclusion in the accreditation scope of application STS 0119
