The project aims to improve the sensitivity of a unique, novel chemical endotoxin (Kdo-DMB-LC) assay to the required health authorities? level. Its current limit of quantification is 30 EU/mL, the new limit will be 0.1 EU/mL (0.01 ng ET/mL). This brings endotoxin testing to the 21st century.
