To accelerate the market adoption of solid-state batteries, high-capacity materials which are cost effective and compatible with solid electrolytes are essential. Dry battery electrode (DBE) processing enables to reach high loading (> 3 mAh/cm2), low enviromental profile and low cost. DECIDER aim is to investigate the feasibility of using DBE with high loadings in Li metal batteries with liquid or solid electrolytes. In both configurations, we will evaluate the quality of the prepared DBE (homogeneity, mechanical properties, etc.) and their performance at cell level in terms of capacity, cycling stability, and safety.
