The lactate transporters MCT1 and MCT4 are validated cancer drug targets. No MCT4 inhibitor has entered clinical testing. We have developed a drug series with dual MCT1 and MCT4 inhibition. We aim to further develop this series to improve efficacy, IP position and drug-like properties.
