Abstract (Englisch)

Ceramic-metal joins in SaltBattery cells are conventionally sealed by costly thermal compression or glass seal bonds. Using lasers, the objective of this project is to develop new lower cost ceramic-metal sealed joints with significantly better repeatability, efficiency, and shorter process times.
