The purpose of the Final Evaluation was to provide an impartial in-depth review of all aspects of Phase 1 of the Joint UN Programme Disaster Risk Reduction for Sustainable Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including its planning, design, implementation, monitoring and reporting. The objective of the evaluation was to review and assess the overall performance of the Programme, its results, inputs activities, partnerships and UN-internal set-up and if and how the delivered outputs contributed to improved local community resilience and more effective prevention, preparedness and response to disasters and to provide forward-looking recommendations to the Government of Switzerland, UN, and Government stakeholders on the sustainability of the Programme results and its scaling up potentials.
