The external review of the institutional support to the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM) comes after 12 years of Swiss support. This external review is both backward and forward looking. The authors observe results achieved by the SCTM and assess its institutional maturity. At the same time, a new form of cooperation has been planned with the SCTM, and the external review also observe opportunities and potentials for this future cooperation.
