In einem Vorprojekt der Hochschule Luzern wurden im Feld ein Mast-Doppelstall und ein Legehenne-Doppelstall mit Luftqualitäts-Sensoren ausgerüstet und können als Feldprüfstände verwendet werden. Mit diesem Messaufbau können unter realen Betriebsbedingungen unterschiedliche Massnahmen zur Verbesserung der Stallluftqualität auf Wirksamkeit und Effizienz getestet werden.

In einem Folgeprojekt mit dem BLV und weiteren Partnern soll die Luftwechselrate der (möglicherweise beiden) Feldprüfstände gemessen werden. Diese komplexe Messung im Betrieb ist unerlässlich für die Charakterisierung der Stalllüftung und für eine Aussage zur effizienten Abfuhr der Luftschadstoffe aus dem Stall. Somit können Lüftungskonzepte für Ställe anhand Messergebnisse beurteilt werden und Handlungsempfehlungen ausgearbeitet werden. 

Short description (English)

In a preliminary project of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, a fattening hen double house and a laying hen double house were equipped with sensors in the field and can be regarded as field test rigs. This makes it possible to determine important characteristic values for house air quality. With this measurement set-up, different measures for improving the quality of the air in the house can be tested for effectiveness and efficiency under real operating conditions.

In a follow-up project with the BLV and other partners we will measure the air exchange rate of the field test stands. This complex measurement is important for characterising the ventilation system of the poultry house and for conclusion about the expel of air pollutants out of the poultry house. Using the results, ventilation concept can be investigated and recommendation for practitioners can be developed.

Project aims (English)

We will measure the air change rate of the poultry house at different set points of the ventilation system (different settings of the fans, of the air traps, of the winter garden openings) in order to know at what pace pollutants are diluted by the incoming fresh air.
