The evaluation objective is to assess the results so far achieved, taking into consideration the changing context and other constraints, draw some conclusions and formulate recommendations on the way forward an on how the project(s) could further evolve based on the indicative questions listed below. The two projects differ slightly in objectives and approach but are related in their character. Both have been designed within SDC a “single phase” pilot activities without explicit commitment for a continuation. The findings of this evaluation will, therefore, serve in addition as a contribution to the strategic discussion within SDC regarding the promotion of innovative private sector actors.
