The axes of our work proposal aim to:
- compare an estimate of the effects of teleworking starting from the scale of the individual on the one hand, with a macro vision, based on concrete measures in the field on the other hand;
- estimate the effects starting from the individual scale, relying on the rich surveys carried out by the UNIL, supplementing them with other targeted and specialized surveys and using these results to introduce them into the national model of the passenger traffic (NPVM);
- critically analyze the results of this model by comparing it with the reality measured on the ground;
- go beyond the strict observation of the effects themselves, to question the concrete issues for mobility and mobility policy.
Our approach thus aims to combine a sociological approach (based on surveys) with an engineering approach (based on field measurements). This seems to us to be particularly relevant to guarantee that the results can both be used in practice by the manager managing mobility or land use planning, but also so that the precise nature of the phenomena can be explained.

Les axes de notre proposition de travail visent à :
- confronter une estimation des effets du télétravail en partant de l’échelle de l’individu d’une part, avec une vision macro, basée sur des mesures concrètes sur le terrain d’autre part ;
- estimer les effets en partant de l’échelle individuelle, en s’appuyant sur les riches enquêtes réalisées par l’UNIL, en les complétant par d’autres enquêtes ciblées et pointues et en utilisant ces résultats pour les introduire dans le modèle national du trafic voyageur (MNTV) ;
- analyser de manière critique les résultats de ce modèle en la confrontant à la réalité mesurée sur le terrain ;
- aller au-delà du strict constat des effets eux-mêmes, pour questionner les enjeux concrets pour la mobilité et la politique de mobilité.
Notre démarche souhaite ainsi mêler une approche sociologique (basée sur enquêtes) avec une démarche d'ingénieur (basée sur des mesures sur le terrain). Cela nous semble particulièrement pertinent pour garantir que les résultats puissent à la fois servir dans la pratique au responsable gérant la mobilité ou l'aménagement du territoire, mais également pour qu'il puisse être expliqué sur la nature précise des phénomènes.

Given the changing trends in the world of work, it becomes useful to know how these new forms of work (particularly teleworking) are likely to modify behavior in terms of transport. In addition to the question of how often a person uses corresponding forms of work and how many journeys are eliminated in this way, the following questions should be considered:
• To what extent and with which means of transport are the canceled journeys replaced by other journeys?
• To what extent is the choice of home or place of work changing and to what extent are commuting distances changing? If so, is the choice of mode of transport influenced?

Au vu des tendances d'évolution du monde du travail, il devient utile de savoir comment ces nouvelles formes de travail (notamment le télétravail) sont suceptibles de modifier le comportement en matière de transport. Outre la question de savoir à quelle fréquence une personne utilise des formes de travail correspondantes et combien de trajets sont ainsi supprimés, il convient d’examiner les questions suivantes :
• Dans quelle mesure et avec quels moyens de transport les trajets supprimés sont-ils remplacés par d’autres trajets ?
• Dans quelle mesure le choix du domicile ou du lieu de travail change-t-il et dans quelle mesure les distances de déplacement domicile-travail évoluent-elles ? Le cas échéant, le choix du mode de transport est-il influencé ?
