Abstract (Englisch)	Atmospheric observations provide a reality check on the true efficacy of climate changemitigation policy. Methane is a potent greenhouse gas (GHG) with multiple complexsources and stable isotope ratios provide a fingerprint needed to verify emissions bysource type. This project seeks to improve 1) ambient air monitoring capabilities; 2) thequality of source signature information; and 3) the modelling of information necessary todirect the measurement strategy and make top-down emissions estimates.
