Abstract
(Englisch)
In order to address the topic "people and robots for sustainable work", emerging human-robot interaction techniques like Augmented and Virtual Reality will play an increasing role, among others in plant planning, plant supervision, close collaboration, and plant optimization. Nevertheless, combining AR/VR with existing robotics infrastructure is quite challenging. This proposal aims at getting professionals familiar with the required background. The aim of this proposal is the development of a common, easy-to-use ICT infrastructure for the existing equipment in the labs of the participating partners. The developed software is planned to be released open-source so that it can be used by other partners within and outside EIT Manufacturing. The project will develop a software platform and tutorials on how to set up the platform and how to get started to work with it. With this, it can be used as a base for other Nuggets created within the EIT Manufacturing Education pillar.
