OptiCADSol – Comparison and optimization of heating plants for solar district heating

Short description (English)

As it has already been shown in previous projects, the coupling of a solar thermal installation with abiomass boiler on a district heating network allows to reduce the wood consumption significantly. Theaim of the proposed project is to establish sizing rules as well as hydraulic and control schemes allowingto realize the solar/wood coupling without any negative impact on the operation of the wood-firedinstallation (increase of pollutant emissions, decrease of efficiency, etc.), and without any negativeimpact on the profitability of the district heating network. These sizing rules will help planners to optimallysize their installations. Finally, a comparative study will be conducted to compare a solar thermalsolution with a photovoltaic solution combined with a heat pump.

Comme cela a déjà été montré dans des projets précédents, le couplage d’une installation solaire thermique avec une production de chaleur à bois sur un réseau de chauffage à distance (CAD) permet de réduire la consommation de bois de manière significative. Le but du projet proposé est d’établir les règles de dimensionnement ainsi que les schémas hydrauliques et de régulation permettant de réaliser le couplage solaire/bois sans que le fonctionnement de l’installation à bois soit péjoré (hausse des émissions de polluants, baisse de rendement, etc.), et sans péjorer la rentabilité du CAD. Ces règles de dimensionnement aideront les planificateurs à dimensionner leurs installations de manière optimale. Enfin une étude sera menée afin de comparer une solution solaire thermique avec une solution photovoltaïque combiné à une pompe à chaleur.
