MK-Aquifer-Charakterisierung – Reservoir-Charakterisierung des Oberen Muschelkalk Aquifers im Kanton Thurgau zur Optimierung der geothermischen Nutzungen

Kurzbeschreibung (Deutsch)

Im Rahmen des Geothermieprojektes der Grob Gemüse- und Landbau in Schlattingen (TG) wurden zwei Bohrungen (SLA-1 + SLA-2) mit der finanziellen Unterstützung des Kantons Thurgau abgeteuft. Die Bohrungen erschliessen den Oberen Muschelkalkaquifer (Trigonodusdolomit = Schinznach Formation) in einer Tiefe von rund 1150 m u.GOK. Die Ergebnisse der bisherigen Pumpversuche mit entsprechenden Wasserprobenahmen zeigen, dass zwei in der Mineralisation und in der Signatur der Isotopen deutlich unterschiedliche Tiefengrundwässer erschlossen wurden. Der vorliegende Forschungsantrag dient dazu die Genese, Herkunft, Altersstruktur und die Fließwege sowie deren Verfügbarkeit dieser Wässer zu klären, um so zu einer Optimierung der Nutzung beizutragen. Die Erkenntnisse aus dem Projekt sollen dazu beitragen zukünftige Konzessionsvergaben zu unterstützen sowie die Bewilligungspraxis und Aufsicht über entsprechende Projekte im Kanton Thurgau zu verbessern. Der Muschelkalk-Aquifer ist der wichtigste Zielhorizont für eine weitergehende hydrothermale Nutzung. Grundsätzlich hat das Projekt auch Relevanz für weitere Kantone (z.B. AG, BS, GE), in denen es bereits existierende bzw. geplante weitere Nutzungen des Muschelkalkaquifer gibt.

Within the geothermal project of Grob Gemüse- und Landbau in Schlattingen (TG) two boreholes (SLA-1 + SLA-2) were drilled with the financial support of the Canton Thurgau. The boreholes tap the Upper Muschelkalkaquifer (Trigonodusdolomite = Schinznach Formation) at a depth of about 1150 m below ground level. The results of the pumping tests carried out so far with corresponding water sampling show that two deep groundwaters with distinctly different mineralization and isotope signatures have been tapped. The present research proposal serves to clarify the genesis, origin, age structure and flow paths as well as their availability of these waters in order to contribute to an optimization of their use. The findings from the project should help to support future concession awards as well as to improve the approval practice and supervision of corresponding projects in the canton of Thurgau. The Muschelkalk aquifer is the most important target horizon for further hydrothermal utilization. In principle, the project also has relevance for other cantons (e.g. AG, BS, GE), where there are already existing or planned further uses of the Muschelkalk aquifer.

Dans le cadre du projet de géothermie de Grob Gemüse- und Landbau à Schlattingen (TG), deux forages (SLA-1 + SLA-2) ont été réalisés avec le soutien financier du canton de Thurgovie. Les forages exploitent l'aquifère supérieur du Muschelkalk (trigonodusdolomit = formation de Schinznach) à une profondeur d'environ 1150 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer. Les résultats des essais de pompage réalisés jusqu'à présent avec les prélèvements d'eau correspondants montrent que deux eaux souterraines profondes nettement différentes en termes de minéralisation et de signature des isotopes ont été exploitées. La présente demande de recherche a pour but de clarifier la genèse, l'origine, la structure d'âge et les voies d'écoulement ainsi que la disponibilité de ces eaux, afin de contribuer à l'optimisation de leur exploitation. Les connaissances acquises dans le cadre du projet doivent contribuer à l'attribution de futures concessions ainsi qu'à l'amélioration de la pratique d'autorisation et de la surveillance des projets correspondants dans le canton de Thurgovie. L'aquifère du Muschelkalk est l'horizon cible le plus important pour une exploitation hydrothermale plus poussée. En principe, le projet est également pertinent pour d'autres cantons (p. ex. AG, BS, GE), dans lesquels d'autres utilisations de l'aquifère du Muschelkalk existent déjà ou sont prévues.
