In response to the COVID-19 pandemic we developed a novel therapeutic approach to tackle viral infections. We demonstrated that our glycopolymers successfully inhibit viral protein attachment of a variety of unrelated viral pathogens and more specifically inhibit infection of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro.
