Das Internet ist mit seinen vielfältigen neuen Möglichkeiten im Bereich der Multimedia der treibende Faktor für die Vernetzung im Haushalt.

Le travail effectué en l'an 2000 a consisté en une recherche bibliographique et une enquête qualitative auprès de 19 personnes des divers milieux liés à laconstruction.Les résultats obtenus ont permis de mettre en évidence:- la méconnaissance assez générale de l'aération douce- les problème rencontrés, problèmes qu'ils soient légaux ou techniques, objectifs ou subjectifs, etc.Ils ont également permis de dresser la liste des avantages et inconvénients de ce mode de ventilation.Enfin, grâce à l'aide active du groupe d'accompagnement, ont pu être élaborés les questionnaires qui serviront de base pour l'enquête quantitative à effectuer tantauprès des maîtres de l'ouvrage et des architectes qu'auprès des locataires et des gérants.

Die Untersuchung zur Auswirkung der Vernetzung im Haushalt folgt der Einteilung nach den drei Anwendungskategorien: 1. Gebäudeleittechnik: Fernbedienung, Fernwartung und Automation der Systeme für die Grundbedürfnisse Wärme, Licht und Sicherheit. Die Anforderungen an die Bandbreiten und Geschwindigkeiten sind gering. 2. Weisse ware: Fernbedienung, Fernwartung und Dokumentation (Betriebsanleitung) 3. Multimedia-Dienste: Telefon, Internet, Informatik, TV, Video, Audio. Der dritte Punkt ist der bestimmende Faktor für die Geschwindigkeit der Anwendungsdiffusion. Gemäss übereinstimmender Aussage aller Experten ist das Wachstum der Vernetzung im Haushalt "internet driven". ...

The Internet ? the most important driver for future electricity demand in households With the rapidly increasing use of the Internet for private purposes, it is possible that the concept of the ?intelligent home?, which has been a matter of wishful thinking for many years now, will become reality in the near future. The fusion of the various media is both the catalyst and, at the same time, the first visible sign of this evolution. The development of user-friendly people-to-machine interfaces and new services, togetherwith the possibility to ?have a look? back home and intervene from there at any time and from any location, will also foster the interconnection of white goods and the intelligent control of other building equipment and services.The impacts of this development on energy demand are wide-ranging and could take on considerable dimensions. Inside the house, the induced increase in energy demand is probably far more significant than the quantity of energy saved by more efficient control. It is estimated that electricity demand in the privatehouseholds sector will increase by a maximum of 1.3% per annum over the next two decades. Even if this Internet-induced increase should only be half as fast, the interconnection of equipment and services would still be the most important driver of electricity demand in the household sector. The most promising measure to slow down this increase consists in minimising the electricity consumption of components and equipment in standby and off modes. We recommend an internationally co-ordinated procedure supported by national information and education campaigns.
