Das Smart Grid International Research Facility Network (SIRFN) ist ein Netzwerk von Smart-Grid-Forschern mit Testanlagen in Ländern, die an dem Implementing Agreement for a Cooperative Programme on Smart Grids (ISGAN) teilnehmen. Die gemeinschaftlichen Test- und Bewertungskapazitäten von ISGAN-SIRFN sollen von der internationalen Gemeinschaft genutzt werden, um eine verbesserte Konzeption, Umsetzung und Prüfung intelligenter Netze und ihrer Funktionen zu ermöglichen, einschließlich der zuverlässigen Integration sauberer Energietechnologien. Die Arbeit wird von einem globalen Netzwerk von Experten durchgeführt und in vier Schwerpunktbereichen verwaltet.

The Smart Grid International Research Facility Network (SIRFN) is a network of smart grid researchers with test-bed facilities in countries participating in the Implementing Agreement for a Cooperative Programme on Smart Grids (ISGAN). ISGAN-SIRFN’s collaborative testing and evaluation capabilities are meant to be leveraged by the international community to enable improved design, implementation, and testing of smart grids and their functionalities, including the reliable integration of clean energy technologies. The work is carried out by a global network of experts and is managed in four focus areas.

Le réseau international d'installations de recherche sur les réseaux intelligents (SIRFN) est un réseau de chercheurs sur les réseaux intelligents disposant d'installations de banc d'essai dans les pays participant à l'accord de mise en œuvre d'un programme coopératif sur les réseaux intelligents (ISGAN). Les capacités d'essai et d'évaluation de l'ISGAN-SIRFN sont destinées à être exploitées par la communauté internationale pour améliorer la conception, la mise en œuvre et l'essai des réseaux intelligents et de leurs fonctionnalités, y compris l'intégration fiable de technologies énergétiques propres. Les travaux sont menés par un réseau mondial d'experts et sont gérés dans quatre domaines d'intérêt.
