To conduct a candid two-part assessment of the most recent Swiss digitalization strategies and agendas to identify the most recent areas of U.S-Swiss bilateral cooperation

Objectifs du projet (Anglais)

• Compare the Swiss Digital Foreign Policy Strategy and the cyber, digitalization and especially digital governance priorities to the digital priorities of the Biden administration in a foreign policy perspective;
• Determine where bilateral digitalization issues and interests converge;
• Highlight areas of potential policy divergence; and, where possible,
• Identify new areas of cooperation within the parameters of the Swiss digitalization strategy. A special area of focus shall be how Switzerland, the U.S. and potentially other like-minded countries and/or the private sector, can cooperate in the development and shaping of rules in the digital space based on shared values and the commitment to democracy, freedom and human rights, as well as the principles of a liberal and inclusive international economic order.
