Abstract (German)	A spring is a complex 3D object manufactured by a sophisticated high-speed machine by bending a steel wire. Modern 3D spring shapes are of such high complexity, that there are no accurate models and/or measurement methods available for them. Hence the project aim is to develop such models & methods.
