Abstract (German)	Genetic devices encoding regulated fast insulin release will be delivered in the form of gene therapy vectors or implanted, ex vivo-engineered therapeutic cells. We aim to generate convincing preclinical data on the application of these therapies to achieve optimal glucose control in diabetic mice.
