Abstract (Englisch)

Staphylococcus aureus can proliferate within host cells, thereby escaping antibiotic therapy. We will establish functionalized extracellular vesicles as a novel drug delivery system for target-specific, intracellular delivery of peptidoglycan hydrolases with proven efficacy against S. aureus.
