AP 1 wird unter Berücksichtigung verschiedener Flexibilitäts- und Sektorkopplungsstrategien konsistente Szenarien für die Entwicklung eines effizienten, flexiblen, widerstandsfähigen, wettbewerbsfähigen und nachhaltigen Schweizer Energiesystems entwickeln. Es wird Szenarien und Ziele auf nationaler Ebene quantifizieren und dabei europaweite Auswirkungen berücksichtigen. Gleichzeitig werden detaillierte Schweizer Szenarien auf kantonaler und kommunaler Ebene bereitgestellt. Es wird auch methodische Fortschritte für die für die Forschung und die Umsetzung in Pilot- und Demonstrationsprojekten erforderliche Multiskalenmodellierung liefern.

WP 1 will develop consistent pathways for the development of an efficient, flexible, resilient, cost-competitive, and sustainable Swiss energy system, with consideration of a broad range of flexibility and sector-coupling strategies. It will quantify scenarios and objectives at the national scale while accounting for Europe-wide effects. At the same time, it will provide detailed Swiss pathways on the cantonal and municipal scales. It will also deliver methodological advancements for the multi-scale modelling necessary for the research and for implementation in the pilot and demonstration projects.

Le MT 1 développera des voies cohérentes pour le développement d’un système énergétique suisse efficace, flexible, résilient, compétitif et durable, en tenant en compte un large éventail de stratégies de flexibilité et de couplage sectoriel. Il quantifiera les scénarios et les objectifs à l’échelle nationale tout en tenant en compte des effets à l’échelle européenne. Il fournira aussi des voies suisses détaillés à l’échelle cantonale et communale. Il apportera également des avancées méthodologiques de modélisation multi-échelle nécessaires pour la recherche et pour la mise en œuvre dans les projets pilotes et de démonstration.

Il GL 1 svilupperà percorsi coerenti per lo sviluppo di un sistema energetico svizzero efficiente, flessibile, resiliente, economicamente competitivo e sostenibile, considerando un'ampia gamma di strategie di flessibilità e di “sector coupling”. Il GL quantificherà scenari e obiettivi su scala nazionale tenendo conto dei possibili sviluppi a livello europeo. Allo stesso tempo, fornirà percorsi svizzeri dettagliati a livello cantonale e comunale. Fornirà inoltre progressi metodologici per la modellazione energetica multi-scala necessaria per la ricerca nei e per l'implementazione dei progetti pilota e di dimostrazione.
