Description succincte (Allemand)	Die Empa hat einen Herstellungsprozess für flexible Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) Solarzellen und Module auf Polymerfolien entwickelt. Die Komplexität des Prozesses, sowie die engen Parameterfenster haben eine Differenz des Wirkungsgrades zwischen Labor und Industrie zur Folge. Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, dieses Problem durch die Entwicklung eines neuen Prozesses für CIGS auf Polymerfolien zu lösen, der einfacher, kontrollierbarer und robuster ist, zugleich aber die hohen Leistungen beibehält, wenn nicht sogar verbessert.
Description succincte (Anglais)	Empa has developed a manufacturing process for flexible Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) solar cells and modules on polymer foils. However, process complexity and narrow parameter windows result in a gap between device efficiencies in the laboratory and industry. The project aims to address this issue by developing a new process for CIGS on polymer film that will be simpler, easier to control and more robust, while maintaining or even improving the high performances previously demonstrated.
