The Smart Spring project improves the maintenance costs and safety of crucial and heavy-duty springs, real-time estimation of their aging by the adjunction of a miniaturized measurement system (Smart Sensor) to the spring. It will make springs smart, embedded and enabled for predictive maintenance.
