(Anglais)
Heat pumps are currently the most popular heat source in Switzerland and are already installed in around 20% of buildings. This development reduces the use of fossil fuels, but increases the demand for electrical energy. Accordingly, efficient operation of the units is not only important on the test bench, but also in practice - even many years after installation. For installers, however, the design and configuration of heat pumps is a complex task, and often characteristic curves are set conservatively and complaint-free systems are not optimised further. Households are usually unable to assess whetherthe electricity consumption of their system is appropriate or whether there is potential for savings.Existing, mostly proprietary monitoring approaches are rarely installed, which means that considerable energetic and monetary potentials are lost. Within the scope of this project, we plan to develop and test an AI-based system that identifies installations from existing smart meter data where an on-siteconsultation is target-oriented. With the system, permanent monitoring can reveal optimisation potential and estimate savings in advance, so that the interest of suitable households is aroused through a well-founded approach.
