Short description (English)

In this report, the detailed chemical composition of PM10 and PM2:5 during a one year period (from June 2018 to May 2019) at five sites of the Swiss National Air Quality Monitoring Network (NABEL) representing rural, suburban, urban and urban roadside environments is presented. The chemical characterisation data is used for identification and quantification of main sources of particulate matter. The results are compared to similar measurement campaigns undertaken in 1998–1999 and 2008–2009.
