Abstract (German)	MIRACLE will enable a new generation of low-cost pulsed lasers streamlined for medical and esthetical applications. The development of novel passive Q-switches and high damage-threshold optical coatings for the mid-infrared will enable unique pulse parameters and a compact laser architecture.
