Abstract (German)	The aim is to expand near-infrared optical tomography to penetrate tissue up to 15cm thickness, where it is believed today that 8cm is the limit. This breakthrough enables a massive broadening of the range of clinical applications, e.g. images of the adult human head. This opens an immense market
